How to find all your subscriptions
Subscriptions hide in a few predictable places: your phone's app store, PayPal, your card statements and your inbox. Check each one below, write down what you find, then decide what to keep.

Where do I see my App Store subscriptions?
Anything you subscribed to inside an iPhone or iPad app is billed by Apple. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click your name again on the page that opens, then click Subscriptions.
To stop one, see how to cancel an Apple subscription.
Where do I see my Google Play subscriptions?
Subscriptions started in Android apps are usually billed by Google Play. On a computer, go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions while signed in to the Google Account that pays for them. If you use more than one Google Account, check each one.
Uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription. See how to cancel a subscription on Google Play.
How do I find subscriptions billed through PayPal?
PayPal calls subscriptions automatic payments. On the PayPal website, go to Settings, click Payments, then Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments. Every merchant that can charge you is listed there. See how to cancel a PayPal automatic payment.
What should I look for on card and bank statements?
Statements catch everything billed straight to a card. Go back a full 12 months so yearly renewals show up too, and look for:
- Charges that repeat on the same day each month or year.
- Small amounts that are easy to skip, and charges in other currencies.
- Merchant names that don't match the product, such as a parent company or a payment processor.
- Every card you have used online, including old and virtual cards.
How do I find subscriptions in my email?
Receipts and renewal notices land in email. Search every inbox you use for words like receipt, invoice, subscription, renewal, membership, trial and "your plan". Sort by date to spot ones that arrive every month or year.
What about work and team tools?
Work tools are often billed to a team or workspace rather than to you: design, writing and AI tools, storage, domains and hosting. Check the billing page of each workspace you own and the domain and hosting accounts behind your websites.
What do I do once I have the list?
Put everything in one place with the price, billing cycle and next renewal date. The subscription tracker spreadsheet works for a one-off list. Subskim keeps renewal dates rolling forward, flags trials and totals every currency in one, and you can add subscriptions from a screenshot of each list you found above.
Then go through them one by one: the subscription audit walks through what to keep, downgrade or cancel.
