How to cancel Acorns Gold, Silver or Bronze

Acorns Gold, Silver and Bronze are monthly subscriptions. To cancel, you have to close all your open Acorns accounts, which can have tax implications.

How do I cancel Acorns?

  1. 1Make sure a verified checking account is linked to your Acorns account so Acorns can transfer your money.
  2. 2Log in at acorns.com and click Profile & Settings.
  3. 3Click My Subscription, then scroll down to Manage Subscriptions.
  4. 4Click Cancel subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Acorns sells any investments and transfers the balance to your linked verified primary checking account.
  • Withdrawals can take 3 to 6 business days to fully show up in your bank account.
  • If you cancel within a day or two of your billing date, you may still see a charge a day or two later because of your bank's processing times.
