How to cancel a Home Chef subscription

To cancel Home Chef, you pause your subscription, which Home Chef treats as a cancellation. Pause before Friday at 12 PM CST in the week before your next delivery.

How do I cancel Home Chef?

  1. 1Log in to your Home Chef account on the web.
  2. 2Click Account in the upper right corner of your dashboard, then click the Account Settings tab.
  3. 3At the bottom of the navigation tabs on the left, choose the option to pause your subscription.
  4. 4Share your reason for pausing and continue until you reach the cancellation confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Canceling does not cancel your first order or any order that has already finalized, processed or shipped.
  • If you chose an automatic restart date when pausing, your account reactivates on that date; to stay inactive, reactivate and pause again without a restart date.
  • You can log back in and reactivate at any time.
