How do I cancel HBO Max?

  1. 1Go to HBOMax.com/subscription and sign in.
  2. 2Check who your subscription is billed through at the top of the screen.
  3. 3Choose Cancel Your Subscription.
  4. 4Confirm the cancellation and note your expiration date.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If there is no cancel option, check who bills you at the top of the screen. If it is Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Roku, Samsung or your internet, mobile or TV provider, cancel through that company instead. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You can keep streaming until the subscription expires at the end of your billing period.
  • An Extra Member Add-On is canceled when your base plan expires, with a prorated refund for any days left on the add-on.
