How do I cancel The Atlantic?

  1. 1Sign in to your Atlantic account at accounts.theatlantic.com, using the email address linked to your subscription if possible.
  2. 2If your subscription is not listed, connect it to your account before continuing.
  3. 3From your account homepage, select Subscription, then select Manage Subscription in the menu on the left.
  4. 4In the Manage Subscription section, select Cancel.
  5. 5If you cannot cancel from your account, contact Customer Care.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought your subscription through a third party, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, cancel it with that third party. The Atlantic cannot cancel or refund a third-party subscription for you.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Your subscription will not renew, and you keep access to The Atlantic and your subscriber benefits through the end of your current term.
  • If your subscription includes print products, you keep receiving the print products you paid for through the end of your current term.
  • Canceling generally does not get you a refund or credit for the time left in your subscription, except where the law requires it.
