How do I cancel The Washington Post?

  1. 1Sign in at washingtonpost.com and go to your My Post profile at washingtonpost.com/my-post/account/subscription.
  2. 2Open the Subscription & Billing tab.
  3. 3Click Manage or Cancel next to your subscription and follow the prompts to cancel.
  4. 4To cancel only an add-on, click Manage or Cancel next to the add-on instead, or cancel both subscriptions.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought your subscription through the Apple App Store, Amazon or Google Play, cancel it with that store under its terms. Google News subscriptions are canceled in your Google Play subscriptions.

What happens after I cancel?

  • The Washington Post stops charging you from the following billing cycle, and your digital access continues for the rest of the current billing period.
  • After that, you can still read a limited number of articles a month, like any other visitor.
  • Canceling only an add-on keeps your Core or Premium digital subscription active.
