How to cancel Acorn TV

An Acorn TV membership bought on acorn.tv can only be canceled in a web browser, not in the iOS or Android apps. Deleting the app or channel does not cancel the subscription.

How do I cancel Acorn TV?

  1. 1Sign in at acorn.tv in a web browser on your computer, tablet or phone.
  2. 2Click My Acorn TV in the top right corner, then go to Manage Account.
  3. 3Click Cancel Membership on the left side of the screen.
  4. 4Confirm by clicking Cancel Acorn TV.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon (Fire TV or Prime Video Channels), Samsung or a cable provider such as Xfinity, Spectrum or Cox, cancel with that provider; you can't cancel it on acorn.tv. If you don't see a cancel button on acorn.tv, you most likely subscribed through a third party.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You keep access through the rest of the subscription term you paid for, and the subscription ends on the last day of that term.
  • Acorn TV does not refund or credit partial billing periods or unwatched content, unless the law requires it.
  • If you cancel during a free trial or while using a promo code or other credits, the cancellation may take effect right away.
