How to cancel a Babbel subscription

Most Babbel subscriptions renew automatically, and you can cancel at any time up to the day before the renewal date. Deleting the Babbel app or canceling your Babbel account does not cancel the subscription.

How do I cancel Babbel?

  1. 1Go to babbel.com and log in to your account.
  2. 2Click the profile icon in the top right corner and choose Profile and settings.
  3. 3Open Account Information.
  4. 4Choose the subscription and click Cancel auto-renewal.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through Google Play, open the Play Store, tap the profile icon, choose Payment and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select Babbel and tap Cancel subscription. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store, go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Babbel and confirm the cancellation. Your Account Information page or original invoice shows where you bought the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You keep access to all of your courses until the subscription expires at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Your Account Information page shows the expiration date. The subscription ends automatically on that date and you are not charged again.
  • If you don't see the Cancel auto-renewal button, the subscription is already set not to renew for the next period.
