How to cancel discovery+

Your discovery+ subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and deleting the app does not cancel it. Cancel a day before your next billing date to avoid another charge.

How do I cancel discovery+?

  1. 1Go to discoveryplus.com and sign in if needed.
  2. 2Choose your profile in the upper right, then Subscription.
  3. 3Choose Cancel Your Subscription.
  4. 4If there is no cancel option, check who you are billed through at the top of the screen and follow the steps for that provider below.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If the Amazon Appstore, Prime Video Channels, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, Verizon, DIRECTV, DISH, Sling or Vizio bills you, cancel through that company instead. If you cancel through DIRECTV, your discovery+ access ends right away. If Xfinity bills you, sign in at discoveryplus.com, choose your profile, then Account, then Cancel Subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • discovery+ sends an email confirming the cancellation, and you can keep streaming until your subscription expires at the end of the billing period.
  • You can resubscribe at any time on discoveryplus.com or in the discovery+ app.
