How to cancel a paid beehiiv plan

In beehiiv, you stop paying for Lite or Pro by downgrading the account to the Free plan. Workspace admins make this change in the Billing & Plan settings.

How do I cancel beehiiv?

  1. 1From the left panel, scroll down and click Settings, then select Billing & Plan.
  2. 2In the Your Current Plan section, click Change.
  3. 3In the popup, click the Downgrade option for the Free plan.
  4. 4Review the final summary of what to expect, then click Confirm.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You keep your current plan until the end of your billing period. The Billing & Plan page shows the date the new plan starts.
  • Downgrading to the Free plan keeps your account and all your content in place. Permanently closing the account and removing its data is a separate deletion process.
  • Automations are turned off on the Free plan. Subscribers already in one finish their journey, and the automations stay saved as drafts.
