How to cancel c.ai+ on Character.AI

If you subscribed to c.ai+ on the Character.AI website, you cancel it in the Customer Portal. You open the portal from a secure link that Character.AI emails to you.

How do I cancel Character.AI?

  1. 1On the Character.AI website, go to Settings, then Account.
  2. 2If your current plan has a Manage button, click Manage to go to the Customer Portal.
  3. 3Enter the email address for your Character.AI account, then check your inbox and spam folder for the secure link.
  4. 4In the email, click Log in to your Customer Portal, then cancel your c.ai+ subscription in the portal.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If your plan shows that it is managed by an app store, you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app. Cancel it through Apple or Google Play by following their support instructions.

What happens after I cancel?

  • If the email does not arrive within 5 minutes, check that you entered the right email address and that your subscription is active and was bought on the website. Select Use a different email to try another address.
