How to cancel Claude Pro Pro or Max

Claude Pro and Max renew automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date.

Cancel on the web

  1. 1Log in at claude.ai or open Claude Desktop.
  2. 2Click your initials or name in the lower left, then Settings.
  3. 3Open Billing and click Cancel.
  4. 4Confirm the cancellation.

Subscribed in the mobile app?

Cancel on the platform where you subscribed. On iPhone or Android, tap your initials, then Billing, then Manage subscription, or use Apple's or Google Play's subscription settings.

What happens after you cancel

  • The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you can use your paid plan until then.
  • Payments are generally non-refundable; customers in the EEA and UK can request a prorated refund within 14 days.
