How to cancel a Medium membership
You can cancel a Medium membership at any time from Settings on medium.com. If you are on a free trial, cancel before it ends to avoid being charged.

How do I cancel Medium?
- 1On a computer, go to your Medium homepage, click your profile picture and click Settings.
- 2Go to the Membership and payment section.
- 3Click Cancel your membership.
- 4If you don't see the option to cancel, sign out and sign back in with the email address linked to your membership.
Billed through an app store or partner?
If you bought your membership through iTunes or the Google Play Store, cancel it directly with Apple or Google. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Medium account does not cancel it, and you will still be charged.
What happens after I cancel?
- You can keep using all membership benefits until the end of the billing cycle.
- Medium does not refund or credit the remaining days of your current billing period.
