How to cancel Perplexity Pro

Perplexity Pro renews monthly or annually until you cancel it. Cancel on the platform where you bought the subscription.

How do I cancel Perplexity?

  1. 1Go to Settings and scroll down to Subscription under Perplexity Pro.
  2. 2Click Manage Subscription to open your current plan page.
  3. 3Choose Cancel subscription.
  4. 4To check that it worked, open Settings and click Manage subscription again.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store controls billing and the cancel option does not appear in Perplexity Settings. Cancel under Subscriptions in the App Store, or under Payments & Subscriptions in Google Play.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Your account goes back to the free version at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Deleting your account does not end the subscription, so cancel before you delete the account.
  • You can reactivate later from Manage Subscription by clicking Renew plan or Update plan and completing payment.
