How to cancel Telegram Premium
You cancel Telegram Premium through the same provider you used to buy it. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription, and you are still billed on the original renewal date.

How do I cancel Telegram?
- 1Check how you subscribed: through @PremiumBot, Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- 2If you subscribed through @PremiumBot, open the bot on Telegram.
- 3Send the /stop command.
Billed through an app store or partner?
If you subscribed through Google Play, tap your avatar in the top right of Google Play and go to Payments & subscription, then Subscriptions. On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings, then Apple ID Settings, then Subscriptions. Apple and Google may keep charging you even if you delete your Telegram account or app, so cancel in your Apple or Google account settings.
What happens after I cancel?
- All future Premium payments are canceled, and you keep your Premium features until the end of the current billing period.
- When Premium expires, the extras are revoked. For example, only your first 10 folders keep working and any additional folders are locked.
- All free features stay exactly as they were before you subscribed.
