How to cancel X Premium

X Premium (Basic, Premium and Premium+) is managed from Settings on the platform where you subscribed. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews to avoid another charge.

How do I cancel X?

  1. 1Sign in at x.com in a web browser.
  2. 2Open Settings and go to your X Premium settings.
  3. 3Cancel the subscription through Stripe, X's payment processor, which opens from your X Premium settings.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed in the X app on iPhone or Android, you can only cancel through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, which you can reach from your X Premium settings in the app. Contact Apple or Google for refunds on app purchases.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Premium features stay on until the end of your billing cycle.
  • Canceling does not refund amounts already paid. Subscriptions are non-refundable unless the law requires a refund.
  • If you have the blue checkmark, it stays until the end of the term you paid for, unless your account is suspended or X removes it.
