How to cancel a Meta Verified creator subscription

Meta Verified creator subscriptions renew automatically, and you have to cancel where you signed up. A subscription bought directly through Meta on a computer can only be canceled on a computer, and you need to cancel at least 24 hours before your next payment date to avoid the next charge.

How do I cancel Meta Verified?

  1. 1On a computer, log into Facebook and click your profile picture in the top right.
  2. 2Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
  3. 3Click Meta Account, then click Meta Verified. Some accounts still show Accounts Center instead of Meta Account.
  4. 4Click Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through Apple, cancel on your iPhone or iPad in Meta account settings in the Instagram or Facebook app. If you subscribed through Google, cancel in Google Play using the same Google account. Signing out or deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing cycle. After that, every subscribed profile loses verification and all Meta Verified benefits, including support, and any open support cases are closed.
  • Meta does not offer credits or partial refunds for canceled Meta Verified subscriptions.
  • If you change your mind after canceling, you can subscribe again.
