How to cancel Backblaze Computer Backup

To cancel Backblaze Computer Backup, you delete every backup and license on the account in the web console. Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage is canceled separately.

How do I cancel Backblaze?

  1. 1Sign in to the Backblaze web console.
  2. 2In the left menu under Computer Backup, click Preferences, find the backup, and click Delete Backup.
  3. 3Enter the confirmation code Backblaze emails to you and click Continue.
  4. 4Under Computer Backup, click Overview, scroll to the Unused License section, and click Delete.
  5. 5Repeat these steps for each backup and license on the account.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Deleting a backup immediately and permanently erases the data in it.
  • Deleting the Backblaze account itself is a separate step under My Settings. It blocks logins and makes the account's data inaccessible, so download any invoices you need first.
