How to cancel IPVanish

If you signed up on the IPVanish website, cancel from the Subscriptions page of your IPVanish account. Canceling online is easier than through support, which asks for proof of ownership from your billing source.

How do I cancel IPVanish?

  1. 1Go to the IPVanish website, click the My Account tab at the top right, and log in with your IPVanish username and password.
  2. 2Click Subscriptions in the menu on the left, then select Change plan.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom of the plan options and select Cancel Subscription.
  4. 4Select your reason for canceling and click Proceed with cancellation.
  5. 5Check the box next to the subscription, choose when the cancellation should occur, and click Submit Cancellation.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you signed up through Apple/iTunes, Google or Amazon, cancel through that platform instead. The IPVanish support team can't cancel those subscriptions for you.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Canceling IPVanish also permanently cancels any linked service. For LiveDrive or SugarSync cloud storage, your stored files are deleted and can't be recovered.
  • A confirmation note appears at the top of the screen once your account has been canceled.
