How to cancel a MasterClass membership
MasterClass memberships renew automatically until you turn off auto-renewal in your account settings. You cannot cancel in the MasterClass app, so use a web browser on a computer or phone.

How do I cancel MasterClass?
- 1Log in to your account at www.masterclass.com in a web browser, not the MasterClass app.
- 2Click your profile or account menu in the top right, then select Settings.
- 3In Account Settings, find the Membership section and click Cancel Membership.
- 4Select Cancel Now to confirm.
Billed through an app store or partner?
If you bought your subscription through the iOS App Store or Google Play, cancel it directly through that app store. MasterClass says it is not responsible for cancellations, renewals or refunds for subscriptions bought through third-party marketplaces.
What happens after I cancel?
- Your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the current billing period and stays active until the renewal date.
- You get a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed. To turn auto-renewal back on later, sign in and select Reactivate in your settings.
- If you are within your first 30 days, you may be eligible for a refund under MasterClass's Requesting a Refund article.
