How to cancel a Pimsleur subscription

Pimsleur subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. How you cancel depends on where you subscribed, and deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

How do I cancel Pimsleur?

  1. 1Log in to your Pimsleur account at store.pimsleur.com in a web or mobile browser.
  2. 2Open the Account Center and select Subscriptions.
  3. 3Cancel your subscription there no later than 11:59pm Eastern Time on the last day of your current billing period or free trial.
  4. 4You can also cancel by calling Pimsleur at (800) 831-5497 during normal business hours.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through an Apple or Google Play in-app purchase, cancel through that store. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open the Google Play Store app, tap Menu, then Subscriptions, select Pimsleur and tap Cancel subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

What happens after I cancel?

  • If you cancel partway through a paid term, the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you can keep using your lessons until then. Pimsleur does not refund any unused part of a term.
  • If you cancel during a free trial, you lose access immediately.
  • Pimsleur keeps your account, learning progress, badges and certificates in case you restart later.
