How to cancel a Shutterstock plan
Most Shutterstock plans renew automatically. Month-to-month plans and annual plans paid upfront can be canceled without a fee, but canceling an annual plan billed monthly early costs 50% of the remaining subscription.

How do I cancel Shutterstock?
- 1Sign in to Shutterstock and open the Plans page of your account.
- 2In the Cancel plan module, click Cancel plan for your subscription.
- 3On an annual plan billed monthly, choose Cancel at end of term or Cancel early.
- 4To stop a pack from refilling, switch off its auto-refill setting on the Plans page.
What happens after I cancel?
- Cancel at end of term stops an annual plan billed monthly from renewing, but monthly billing continues until the 12-month term ends. With Cancel early, you pay the fee and keep access for half of the remaining months.
- Subscription downloads stay available until the end of the current month of service, and your Shutterstock account stays open without a plan.
- Purchases are generally non-refundable. EU and UK customers can get a refund within 14 days if no downloads or credits were used.
