How to cancel SoundCloud

SoundCloud subscriptions are canceled from the Subscriptions page in a desktop or mobile browser. You can't cancel in the SoundCloud app.

How do I cancel SoundCloud?

  1. 1Sign in to SoundCloud in a desktop or mobile browser and go to your Subscriptions page (soundcloud.com/you/subscriptions).
  2. 2Click Edit next to your current subscription.
  3. 3Select Opt-out of your current plan at the bottom of the page.
  4. 4Select Confirm and Cancel your Plan.
  5. 5Refresh the page. If it shows EXPIRES next to your billing date, the cancellation worked.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought the subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel it directly with Apple or Google Play. SoundCloud can't help with cancellations or refunds for subscriptions bought on iOS devices.

What happens after I cancel?

  • With Go, you keep ad-free listening and offline downloads until the current billing cycle ends, then the account goes back to the free, ad-supported experience.
  • SoundCloud does not refund subscriptions it has already delivered, but you won't be charged again if you cancel before the next billing date.
  • If an Artist plan drops to Basic, your oldest uploads over the free limit are hidden but not deleted. Content you distributed or monetized through SoundCloud for Artists is removed from other platforms and de-monetized 30 days after the subscription ends.
