How do I cancel SurveyMonkey?

  1. 1Log in to SurveyMonkey, select your Profile circle in the upper-right corner, then select My Account.
  2. 2Open the Billing Details tab and, under Billing Profile, select Manage Subscription.
  3. 3Review the summary of your subscription and select Downgrade to Basic.
  4. 4Give a reason, check the box confirming you'll lose paid features and extra responses will be deleted, then select Downgrade.
  5. 5Check the date your account will downgrade and select Done to cancel auto-renew.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought your plan in the SurveyMonkey iOS app, Apple manages the billing. Cancel the subscription through Apple instead of in SurveyMonkey.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Paid features stay available until your next billing date, then the plan changes to Basic, the free plan. Canceling a team downgrades all of its accounts and dissolves the team.
  • Downgrading means you lose paid features, and extra responses will be deleted.
  • SurveyMonkey does not automatically refund remaining time, and previous charges are not refunded unless the law requires it. EU consumers have separate refund rights.
