How to cancel Vimeo Starter, Standard or Advanced

You can cancel a Vimeo paid plan at any time before the renewal date shown on your billing settings page. Enterprise accounts contact their account manager instead.

How do I cancel Vimeo?

  1. 1Log in to vimeo.com and go to your billing settings page.
  2. 2Select Membership plan, then select Billing on the left side.
  3. 3In the lower right corner, select Cancel subscription.
  4. 4Confirm your cancellation.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought the subscription in the Vimeo mobile app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you will not see a cancel option on vimeo.com. Cancel it through Apple or Google instead.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Paid features stay until the end of the current billing cycle. The account then lapses to a Basic or Free plan and loses paid features such as extra storage for embeddable and non-public videos, player customization and extra privacy settings, and any VOD titles you sell are no longer available.
  • Refunds are not issued automatically when you cancel, but in some cases you may be eligible for one; Vimeo covers this in a separate refunds article.
  • Canceling does not delete your Vimeo account. It stays active on the Free or Basic plan unless you delete it.
