How to cancel Todoist Pro

To cancel Todoist Pro, you stop it from renewing. For card payments, use the Subscription tab in the Todoist web or desktop app, not the mobile app.

How do I cancel Todoist?

  1. 1Log in at todoist.com or open the desktop app.
  2. 2Click your avatar at the top left, then select Settings.
  3. 3Select Subscription and click Cancel plan.
  4. 4Choose a reason, then click Cancel subscription to confirm.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you pay through the App Store, cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings. If you pay through Google Play, check your Google Play account for a recurring Todoist subscription and remove it there. Microsoft Store payments do not auto-renew.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period, then the account moves to the Beginner plan.
  • On a yearly plan within the 30-day refund window, you can choose to end the subscription right away and get a refund.
  • Your tasks, projects, and comments stay, but Beginner limits apply, so active personal projects above the limit of 5 become view-only.
