How to cancel Trello Premium or Standard

Trello Premium and Standard are Workspace plans, and only a Workspace administrator can cancel them. If your Workspace uses Atlassian's centralized billing, the steps are different.

How do I cancel Trello?

  1. 1Open Trello on the web. The desktop and mobile apps can't manage subscriptions.
  2. 2Select the Trello logo in the header, then select the Workspace.
  3. 3Select Billing.
  4. 4Select Cancel at the bottom of the page.

What happens after I cancel?

  • The Workspace keeps its paid features until the end of the billing period, then becomes a free Workspace.
  • The 10 most active Workspace boards stay open and the rest are closed but not deleted. Boards become view-only until the Workspace has fewer than 10 collaborators.
  • Data from paid features is hidden but not deleted. Export it before downgrading, or upgrade again to see it.
