How to cancel Tinder Plus, Gold or Platinum

Tinder subscriptions renew automatically until they are canceled. The steps below are for order numbers starting with TNDR, which means you bought on tinder.com or with a credit card in the Android app.

How do I cancel Tinder?

  1. 1Go to tinder.com and log in.
  2. 2Select your profile icon.
  3. 3Select Manage Payment Account.
  4. 4Find the subscription you want to cancel and select Cancel Subscription.

Billed through an app store or partner?

An order number starting with MK means Apple bills you. On your Apple device, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. An order number starting with GPA means Google Play bills you. In the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, go to Payments & Subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select the subscription and tap Cancel subscription. If you paid by credit card or PayPal in the Android app, open Tinder, tap your profile icon, choose Manage Payment Account and tap Cancel Subscription. If you subscribed with Apple Pay or a web payment option, use the tinder.com steps.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Uninstalling or deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
  • Subscriptions don't transfer between platforms. If you changed devices, for example from iPhone to Android, cancel the subscription on your old device.
  • For a third-party purchase, usually made outside the Tinder app or tinder.com, contact the merchant directly to request a refund.
