How to cancel a Headway subscription

Headway subscriptions and free trials renew automatically, so cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle to avoid the next charge. The steps below are for subscriptions bought on the Headway website.

How do I cancel Headway?

  1. 1Go to the Headway Account page at headway-product.com/sign-in.
  2. 2Log in with the same password you use in the Headway app. If you don't remember it, reset it in the app.
  3. 3Click Cancel Subscription to turn off automatic renewal.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app, the App Store or Google Play handles the cancellation. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Headway and tap Cancel. On Android, open the Play Store, tap the icon in the top right corner, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and select Headway. Refunds for these purchases are requested from Apple or Google, and deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Canceling turns off automatic renewal, and you keep access to all your subscription features for the rest of the current period.
  • Canceling does not give you a refund.
  • On a commitment plan, canceling before the end of the committed period stops renewal, but you still have to pay any remaining amounts due for that period.
