How to cancel a Hootsuite subscription

You cancel a Hootsuite subscription from Plan and billing in your account. If you're a member of a Hootsuite organization, only a Super Admin can cancel.

How do I cancel Hootsuite?

  1. 1If your account is overdue or suspended, update your payment information first.
  2. 2Go to Account.
  3. 3Select Plan and billing.
  4. 4Select Update subscription to cancel your subscription.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed on your mobile device, cancel that subscription on Google Play or the Apple App Store at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Hootsuite cannot refund mobile subscriptions.

What happens after I cancel?

  • The cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid or trial period, and you keep all of your current plan features until then.
  • You can restart your subscription at any time, and Hootsuite restores your account information and data.
  • Hootsuite's self-serve terms say all fees are non-refundable, but you can submit a refund request and Hootsuite will review your charges.
