How to cancel a MyHeritage subscription

MyHeritage subscriptions renew automatically. How you cancel depends on where you bought the subscription, not on how you use your account now.

How do I cancel MyHeritage?

  1. 1Log in at myheritage.com in your browser.
  2. 2Click your name in the upper right corner of the Home page and go to My purchases.
  3. 3Select the subscription you want to cancel (site, data or photo), then click Cancel my subscription.
  4. 4Click Continue until you see the Stop automatic renewal button, then click it.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you bought the subscription in the MyHeritage app, it can only be canceled through the App Store or Google Play. Uninstalling the app does not stop the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • MyHeritage sends a confirmation email titled "Your annual renewal at MyHeritage has been stopped."
  • If the Stop automatic renewal button is grayed out or can't be clicked, the renewal for that subscription is already canceled.
  • Canceling a free trial ends access to paid features right away.
