How to cancel a subscription on Roku

Subscriptions you signed up for through Roku, including Roku Subscriptions on The Roku Channel, are canceled by turning off auto-renew. You can also do it on your Roku device: press Home, highlight the app, press the Star button, then select Manage subscription and Turn off auto-renew.

How do I cancel Roku?

  1. 1Go to my.roku.com/subscriptions.
  2. 2Under Active subscriptions, select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. 3Select Manage subscription.
  4. 4Select Turn off auto-renew to cancel the subscription.

Billed through an app store or partner?

Disney+, Hulu and Sling TV manage their own subscriptions even when Roku bills you, so contact them to cancel. If you subscribed directly through a streaming service such as Apple TV+, YouTube TV, Amazon Prime Video or Spotify, cancel with that service, not through Roku.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You keep access until the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Roku does not give partial-term refunds.
  • Free trials must be canceled before they end to avoid recurring subscription charges.
