How to cancel a Norton subscription

Norton subscriptions renew automatically. To cancel, you turn off automatic renewal on your Norton account page.

How do I cancel Norton?

  1. 1Sign in to your Norton account and, on the My Account page, select the My Subscriptions tab.
  2. 2Find the subscription and click Cancel Subscription Renewal or Manage Renewal next to it.
  3. 3Next to Plan Renewal, click Unsubscribe.
  4. 4Select a reason and click Next.
  5. 5Click No thanks, cancel my subscription, then click Next. A confirmation message appears.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through an in-app purchase, you can cancel only in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Microsoft Store. Uninstalling the Norton app does not cancel the subscription.

What happens after I cancel?

  • Your subscription continues through the end of the term you already paid for, then ends and does not renew.
  • The change can take up to 24 hours to appear in your account, and you may lose any benefits tied to automatic renewal.
  • If you have already been charged and want a refund, contact Norton Member Services & Support.
