How to cancel Surfshark
To cancel a Surfshark subscription bought on the Surfshark website, you turn off auto-renewal in your Surfshark account. You can also cancel by contacting Customer Support through live chat.

How do I cancel Surfshark?
- 1Log in to the Surfshark account page.
- 2Click your email address in the top-right corner and select Subscription.
- 3Open the Payments section.
- 4Click Cancel auto-renewal, then confirm.
Billed through an app store or partner?
If you bought the subscription through Google Play, the Apple App Store or the Amazon Appstore, cancel auto-renewal through that platform instead. If Cancel auto-renewal does not appear in your Surfshark account, the subscription may have been bought through an app store.
What happens after I cancel?
- Automatic payments stop, and the subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period.
- Canceling auto-renewal does not automatically give you a refund, and the unused part of an active subscription period is not refunded.
- If you bought within the last 30 days and want a refund, Surfshark points you to its refund policy article.
