How to cancel ExpressVPN

If you bought ExpressVPN on expressvpn.com, cancel on the My subscription page in a browser; you can't cancel inside the ExpressVPN app. Subscriptions paid with Bitcoin or Paymentwall don't renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel.

How do I cancel ExpressVPN?

  1. 1Open any browser and go to My subscription (portal.expressvpn.com/my-subscription).
  2. 2Log in to your ExpressVPN account if prompted.
  3. 3Click Cancel subscription below Automatic renewal.
  4. 4Follow the prompts to finish. If you don't see Cancel subscription, which can happen after a failed renewal payment, remove your saved payment method to turn off automatic renewal.

Billed through an app store or partner?

If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancel in that store's subscription settings. To avoid a charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial ends or the next billing date.

What happens after I cancel?

  • You won't be billed automatically for another subscription cycle, and you can keep using ExpressVPN until the last day of your current cycle.
  • Logins stored in ExpressKeys stay accessible after the subscription ends, but you can't add new entries.
